Hi Guys,

In a nutshell...

I've bought a flash-based website template, for the 2nd time, as first time around it worked perfect for what I needed.

The flash part of the website is in .swf format, with an image (for the websites background) embedded in. Basically, I want to change the background image from what it is, to something else I'll make myself.

Simply, I dont have the software/knowledge to do this.

I have allot of flash files, which apparantly you can use to edit it,in both .fla and .swf formats, although these files mean nothing to me: flashCS3, flashCS5, flashMX2004 - I assume this has something to do with the program you would use? Again, I assume you would edit these files, and then complie it into a .swf for the website.

If any of that makes sense to you, and you think you could help, I am more than willing to pay for your time to help me sort it out, via paypal or something, as otherwise Im completley knackered!

If you need any more info, or think you can help, please let me know!

Many thanks

Hi !! if you have the fla file .. follow the steps given below :

step 1: run your flash cs3,cs5
step 2: open the .fla file
step 3: click the window panel ( which u can find the top )
step 4: click Library (u can find the the background image there [ex name: bg.png,bg.jpg........])

step 5: just double click that
step 6: (now a new window opens ..) click the import button
step 7: find your own background image and open
step 8: click ok

Finally u made it !!

after that taking transform tool u can re-size the image and position..this also u can do in properties panel...
