i'm curious as to what the average self-employeed freelance web designer is making these days.
What sort of yearly turnover and profit margins are people generating?

These dont have to be exact and i understand it could be pretty personal for some, so please dont feel the need to state that or post if you feel uncomfortable

Pretty hard to find an 'average', you'd need to find people who took on the same amount of work etc. I'm a freelance PHP developer, I work basically 10 hours a day 5 days a week (on a decent day I can do about 6 'chargeable' hours), so a good months income for me would be about £5000, a bad month would be £200.
