Hi guys,

I'm just starting to slice up a navigation bar from fireworks and write the code for it, however I have noticed a difference in colour between the source fireworks png and the image rendered in both chrome and ff.



Please see image below, top nav is as seen in fireworks, bottom is in chrome.

I believe the bottom one is noticeably lighter (look at gradient around the text) than the original.
I am exporting the slice as a 32bit png and then repeating along the x-axis in my css. Surely there should be no difference????

there shouldn't be a difference - would you mind posting a link to the original png?
