Hi,

I would like to announce the new "WDF Store" is now open.

The WDF Store is only in it's infancy and has yet to scratch the surface of whats planned, but for now the first product we will be offering are "Membership Upgrades".

There are currently 2 types of upgrades available:

Posted Image Posted Image

Pricing & full member benefits can be found in the store.

When you upgrade, you'll have either of the above banners to show off under your username on all posts and also within your profile area.

As well as a shiny new badge you'll also get a host of benefits. These benefits came from the demands of users wishing for additional features such as a bigger PM inbox & adding PM attachments, more upload space, increased signature permissions such as adding more links, multiple signature images, more lines of text, plus bypassing the search flood limit + much more.

Full membership benefits can be found under each product within the store.

As well as membership upgrades there's a lot planned for the store and hope to unveil more over the coming months that will certainly help benefit members and the community. :)

Stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

T-shirts? Too cold for that now, perhaps gloves!

A baseball cap might be very useful - in all weathers.

If I have a few pound to use I will get a membership, but to be honest, there is no real need or reason to buy membership. Doesnt seem that great?

I see the membership upgrades more as a way of showing you appreciate the forum for what it is, i certainly wouldn't buy it for any of the benefits. :p

Also the spam needs to be curtailed as this discourages me from purchasing a subscription, i used to be a paying member at Neowin but didn't renew after some of the members are were idiots, the same could happen here if the spam isn't controlled.

However in January i will purchase a membership to show some love :D

Absolutely, there are some useful things in there especially for signature permissions + when we get some physical products added to the store, we can create specials like "Gold/Platinum" members can get 10% off all purchases etc, so there definitely will be some added perks as well as showing just "Forum Love" :)

Loving the ideas, would definitely grab a T-Shirt, and a cap, and a mug. Sod it, all great ideas, I'm thinking the decals idea is another good one. I'd stick it in the back window of the car.

Hmmm.. .membership upgrade...definitely for consideration, but don't feel bad WDF if many might wanna bask in the freebie section for awhile. The merchandise idea rings a bell--- T-shirts, mugs, mouse mats, web-to-print(ables?) C o o l!

Ben this is just an idea and might help out quite a large number of users. What about integrating some stats into it. In example, how many clicks did the image or link in your sig got. This way people don't have to login to their own stats system to find out.
