Alright, I think the reason no one has responded to this question is:

Doesn't it already show the index.html when they visit myweb.com?

Was this an easy fix, or do we have to be more specific?

So, with that in mind:

it will be myweb.com/index.html without actually showing up in the url as myweb.com/index.html.

Furthermore, I *think* (certainly someone else can correct me) that any web server should be set up to do that by default.

Particularly one as famous as the one as you are using. Look, the only thing I can go is brainstorm unless you're more specific or someone else gives their input.

Log in to filezilla.
make sure your homepage is called index.html
save it under the directory of public_html

that should fix your problem :/

Ok, so from what I understand. When you type in www.yourdomain.com you get nothing, to get your index you have to type www.yourdomain.com/index.html? Right?

If this is your problem, then you need to take all of your .html files out of whatever folder you have them in and upload just those files to your root, for some reason you can't just add the folder you keep them in.

Hope this helps
