For no reason at all Internet explorer 8 and google chrome wouldn't load properly on my laptop. I upgraded to IE 9 beta. Google chrome was uninstalled, but when I re-install it it still doesn't work.

I had problems with internet explorer again so now I'm using firefox. It mostly works, but sometimes it doesn't load lol

I've noticed when I go to google and click on a search result I will be taken to some advertising website rather than the one I clicked on. A browser re-direct. Obviously some virus or adware. I ran various anti-virus and adaware but it's still happening...

any advice???

Try resetting TCP/IP.

Start | Run | CMD

At the command prompt type:

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

And press enter.

See if that helps.
