Hi Guys

I have a domain name pointing to my server.

What I want to know is > Is it possible to have more than one website on that domain ?

for example:

I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Yes, thats fine. SEO wise, if the two sites aren't related its not a good idea, however technically it is possible. Maybe look at subdomains as that is better for SEO if the two sites aren't really related

Just create a sub directory for the other site/s.

www.url.com
www.url.com/site2
or
www.site2.url.com

Hi

I have DirectAdmin. I went into Subdomain Management and created a subdomain there.

Now what ?

How do I upload files to the subdomain ? Has the subdomain created its own folder somewhere ?

Sorry I'm a n00b to this sort of thing.

EDIT: I have logged into my FTP for the domain, and I can't see any new folders ! Also I created a folder named {site} and uploaded the files to there, but they don't show on the subdomain.

So I must be missing something, somewhere :(

Thank You.

Easiest thing for you to do would be to just create a new folder in your public root.
Where you have all site ones files, put a folder with all site two’s files.
Access by adding “/folder_name” on your url.

Hey it WORKED !!!!!!!!!!!! :D

thank you sooo much guys, this is going to make my life so much easier :D

The reason it wasn't working before was because I had my file as { default.htm } instead of { index.html }

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You :D
