Anyone know a good free (or cheap) website traffic tracker?

I need only the very basic data displays (i.e. page hits)

apparently you have to enter a small amount of code to every page for that?Is there one that just runs without having to do any adding or editing?

Do you not have a global header file? Just put the analytics code in the <head> of your global header file and you're all set.
If you don't have a global header file - why not?! ;)

Unless you have soemthing like awstats on your server, you really aren't going to get anything simpler than adding a snippet of GA code to each page.
