Hello,

Just want to make sure I've got my head round this right.

I am doing a site for someone who has an existing site which they host (along with many others they host(it's a charity and they have lots of old sites for groups (using frontpage) that i've been updating). They have said they'll give me their control panel login details, but surely I don't need that and can just use Filezilla if they provide me with their ftp host/user/password??

Is that right? I've only used Filezilla and Cpanel a few times infrequently and don't feel that confident in either.

Any advice much appreciated
Thanks a lot

That would be correct if you are just going to be uploading the website. If they are on cpanel im guessing they may have to set up the domain they want to use and then give you the FTP details. ?

If you're just creating/updating files created with Fronpage, then Filezilla access will be enough.
