Client adamant about having two separately scrolling columns of content on blog. Was unsure at first but now I think it could be quite cool!

I've been working on my personal portfolio site:-

http://www.simondaley.co.uk/

Next stage:-

Will be having a full page for each 'work' portfolio item. Also will be adding more items to the work page over the weekend.

Tested in IE7 it seems to work fine but javascript a bit jerky. Works best in Google Chrome, etc

Looking awesome mate. One thing though, on an iPad the text is squashed up against the side of the screen and could do with some breathing room.

re: 4 wp sites - Who's a busy boy then?!

re: site squashed - The main grid is 980px, would changing it to 960px do the trick you think? Shame cos it looks good on my laptop but a lot of people are using ipads so I need it to look good in that too.

I was contemplating the same thing.. I held back a little as I wasn't sure if it would be too much - I may tweak things a little in the new year though when the work section is finished

My business website. Launched, but still being tweaked. Based on a template I purchased, but then rebuilt to suit my own requirements. Would love to get some feedback. :-)

nice job

Loving the artwork..

Just a tiny heads up with the javascript - contact button on right might need checking, also it's not the smoothest scroller I've seen. You may want to try an alternative script.

Other than that, bravo

Thank you, I will look into the Javascript, the scrolling is not the best, I know :) The contact button doesn`t use Javascript, only CSS :)

Tinkering with dynamicaly generated signature tags

you can see it action better on this link where the forum allows bbcode to have a php extenstion.

Public site for a client I've been working with for the last couple of months.

http://www.servicetask.com/

I did the design and front-end development for their web app, too, but the only shots I have to show are the ones on the homepage and features page.

Tease pictures of a Wordpress Admin theme I'm working on to match the look of my music site.

Who knows, might release it if there's enough interest! :)

How are you going about theming the admin interface?
I did it once a while back but it was a bit hacky and involved a plugin to attach an admin CSS file.

	// Custom Admin CSS
add_action('admin_head', 'my_custom_css');
function my_custom_css() {
  echo '<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="'.get_bloginfo('template_directory').'/custom-admin.css" />';}

Simple hook for your functions.php.

I also keep the selector structure intact. For example, if you find an element shows up as being styled using this:

#adminmenu li.wp-has-current-submenu a.wp-has-current-submenu, #adminmenu li.current a.menu-top, #adminmenu .wp-has-current-submenu .wp-submenu .wp-submenu-head

Even if you were only looking at #adminmenu, don't change the structure, so if you're changing one selectors properties and the same properties are shared with other elements - change them all.

Makes it less hacky and more coherent.

Nice one Mike. Totally agree with you there.
This is pretty much what the plugin did but i'd much rather use a function.php hook.

Nice one and have a plus one.

I'm trying to build as many websites as I can to try and learn what the hell I'm doing and decided to help out a friend who wants to start her own web shop. I just went with open cart as I have no idea how to build something like that yet lol.

Here's the footer!

I am currently working on building a new website for my website hosting company. There are a lot of new things that I am adding to the site to make my website hosting company bigger and better.

Here is a preview of the current draft.
