Hi guys

I've got a .swf file inserted in a div. When clicked the div expands to reveal extra info. This all worked fine until it came to inserting a small flash animation into the div that initiates the reveal function.

It works fine in firefox (as I would expect) but when it comes to working in IE it's a non starter. The flash file contains a button to bring up the hand icon when rolled over. Could this be creating some confilct with the click function in IE?

Here's the link for ya.

and help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Doesn't work in Chrome either. If i expand the width slightly, and click to the side, it works. So it is a problem.

To hazard a guess, i would say it's probably a z-index problem that's quite common with flash. I'll try and find you a linky :)

Edit: Try this http://joshuaink2006...ent-and-z-index

thanks for that bocaj. Having looked at the issue again though I think I'm going to swap it out for an aminated gif. More work than flash I know but, client want's it animated and I'll be damned if I'm going to spend hours and hours tinkering with it.
