Hi everyone, just doing a quick bit of market research;

Do Web Designers use Rights Managed or Royalty Free images?

Also, what is the average price you would pay for an image?

Thank you for your time...

Dave

When I've needed photos, I've only ever used royalty-free images from sites like sxc.hu . :o

Do you use tiny images? eg, under 600x600?

Yep, I use the smaller downloads at $1/image (forgot to answer that the first time).

I don't use a ton of images anyway. Those I do use are mostly filler for if a client can't/won't provide their own and we can't create something for them. But that's pretty much the exception.

Has to be royalty free. I would normally pay about $1 for a standard image size.

Whenever I need an image, I trot over to http://sxc.hu - it's free. They haven't failed me yet! ;)
