I am wanting to learn how to design a website like the example below:

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of how to design a Flash website like this.
Thanks in advance,

It looks crap! And can be achieved in javascript quite easily
Flash should only be used sparingly in my opinion, never ever on full site builds. It hinders SEO, looks rubbish most of the time, and can almost always be done using JS
What exactly from that site do you want to recreate? Maybe I can point you in a direction that doesn't use flash for it

The part i like is the navigation, im used to the old text hyperlink and think something like that would be great to learn and implement.

Well you can look around at javascript navigation/menu's, there are some pretty slick ones out there
@Lev, I didn't say flash was crap, when used right it is amazing - I mean the site the OP showed is crap

Is there any certain tutorials you recommend?
I agree that site i exampled is crap, but i like the eye catch the navigation gives.
Thats the first thing that caught my site when i seen it.

If you don't know how to use flash - don't use it

I agree to a point - but the site he has shown doesn't need to be a flash site. It can be done with html/css quite easily.
Obviously there are some amazing flash sites, but there are very few people in the world who have really mastered flash. Flash is awesome when used correctly, but in this instance, it is pointless.

Flash is really good in some ways depending on the type of website. Video orientated I think is really good in flash and ease of use, once you know a few things.

Games, cartoons and educational presentations!
But please will everyone STOP saying flash is crap for SEO or you can't use a CMS with flash. If that is the only reason people don't use flash then it's a sad state! All these problems have now been addressed and it's an old....well...excuse!
We all work either as a developer or a designer and flash is catered for BOTH! How creative can one get using flash either drawing or coding(AS3) so why are people(designers and developers) always telling people not to use it? I think jQuery and HTML5 is superb and have already started to learn both, but i wont be turning my back on flash as that would be just foolish as it will be around for years to come and very sort after skill to have.
So learning how to create a site in flash isn't any harder than learning to use jQuery. And jQuery has a limit - flash hasn't!
Sorry for the moan but it always surprises me why us creatives are always slagging off one of the most creative tool we have???
Few!....glad i got that off me chest...feel better now.

Just remember you will never see flash on ipads and iphones. Maybe you arnt bothered, many of my clients are.
If it degrades well then good. Personally I have been moving over to JS (well jQuery), it can not quite deliver everything that flash can yet, but the gap is closing fast.

Oh yes forgot about arrogant Mr Jobs. The man has probably put thousands of flash developers out of work because of his childish behavior!

I would disagree with you on this one, take a look at this website and tell me if this can be done using jquery:
