With Opera 9 once could change the rendering appearance of website to many styles. One of them simulated mobile view - where is that in v10?

Difference between Opera Mobile and Opera Mini Simulator?

I don't know about the simulator, you can use the facility in Opera 10 without needing to download anything.

Change the window size to about 320px wide (common mobile width) then use View, Fit To Width (it gets rid of scrollbars and squeezes content).

i have been using Opera and other browsers for my mobile since a long time , but Opera working very well as a default browser.
