I'm a begginer at web design who is familiar with HTML mainly learned on W3schools. You guys are probably fed up with people like me who join the forum ask a question and then bugger off, however I intend to stick around and hopefully get better at web design and programming and hopefully help others later on.

A few problems:

  • it was a template based on tables (causing problems and it's gross)
  • It was for a person who invested in expression web and asked if I could use it (made horrible code however I didn't want to make them feel like they wasted there money)
  • I borrowed a javascript gallery code, I spent ages getting it to work, it looks completely barmy in expression web and IE but works fine in firefox.

I ran a check on expression web for compatibility conflicts with IE6 and there were 67, all of these though were just normal code. Could anyone suggest as to why something wouldn't work in IE when javascript is used. It basically looses all formatting and the pictures don't change when clicked.

If you'd like to have a look at what I'm on about the please visit www.plasnewyddusk.co.uk it's for some wealthy people who also insisted on the page looking like it does.

Thanks very much.
