Hi there people...

just wanted some advice... or any tips..

Basically.. im looking to setup a website and i know that i would have to build up my reputation in order to get high volume of traffic...

I was looking into the SEO side of it and was wondering is there any where on the internet or google where you can find out how much you gotta pay for certain links or phrases to appear in top 10 results of google and if there is anywhere i can find how many searches are done for a specific term or phrase in google...

so for example if i wanted to find out how many times "How do i install hardware" is searched on google.. is there anywhere where i can find that.. i tried google trends but quite puzzling lol... (and the term above is just an example)

and if i wanted to know how much the top 10 results are paying is there anywhere i can find that info?

im assuming itd be in the hundreds or thousands as it would generate high volume of traffic ...

could anyone advise me?
Many thanks in advance.. ;)

1. Don't pay for links if you want your website to succeed
2. Use Googles keyword tool adwords.google.com/ to analyse search terms
Hope this helps.

Hi hungrytiger. Unfortunately, the only way you'll be able to find out how much people charge for their SEO services is to ask for a quote. Some companies will put prices on their website for certain packages, but every SEO campaign is different and depending upon how competitive your key phrases are and how many you want to optimise for, the price will vary greatly.

Be wary of anybody offering to get you to the top of Google in two weeks... no company can truly guarantee first place on Google for anything. But if they can promise you front page in two weeks, they're probably not playing by the rules and could end up getting you blacklisted.

Try giving the company a ring and see how easy they are to get in touch with. Most companies will charge a monthly fee for ongoing SEO as it can take six months to see real improvement to your search engine position.

I am agree with S3 Web Design. Google keyword tool is best to find out most searching keyword and many more thing helpful to your website. And manual SEO can also help your website better visibility in SERPs.
