I downloaded many cart systems and found opencart to be the better for digital downloading of products as it was impossible to find out how to do on oscommerce and I tried with e-commerce on wordpress but i didn't want it intergrated with my blog section and the software had bugs in too.

I think I have all the digital download section working ok and will be doing further tests tonight but the thing that I wanted to achieve is I have a drop down menu which you can select for which format to download but the trouble is in opencart you cant have each selection call up the file after pruchase as its more of the proccess of knowing what to ship out whether its small, medium, large etc

I have been on the forums for these cart systems but no one has a clue about anything and have given up and thought I rely on people that do here instead of a more dedicated forum.

This won't help you, but here lies the issue of using pre-made solutions. Unlerss you know what you're doing (E.g. able to modify the source code) you're stuck. This is even a bigger issue if you're building a store for a real client and your client wants to add extra features.
