Hi everyone,
I've had an idea and would like to set up a couple of simple couple page websites to give a little information and make some money from affiliate marketing of products related to the content/domain.
Has anyone had experience in doing this? Are there some specific templates I can use to save time/money? Would it cost a lot to set up?
Thanks,
Leon

depends how far you want to go, wordpress seems to be the most used for that,
cost... basically nothing to be honest and most affiliates are free, no set up costs, its not a cost things its time and content (unique).

great stuff! There are lots of Wordpress themes out there- and currently have a wordpress based site. Is your site something you have made yourself? I like your site, but don't quite understand how I can set up the affiliate deals- any pointers?
I have found Commission Junction, and a wordpress plugin which allows you to stick all off their stuff on there- pretty useful!
Is CJ the best one to go for?
Thanks
Leon

My site is a lot of things iv worked on/modified and linking up for the last year or so, not perfect and to be honest its not even half finished.
iv never used wordpress but i know plenty that do, from beginners to the more advanced they use it because its super easy.
CJ iv never worked with, really you need to work out what content/niche you want to cover then go from there, AWIN (affiliate window) are used a lot but there is plenty to choose from you don't have to go with just one.
