Hi,

I uploaded our new website last week. Google has indexed all the new 63 pages fine - quite fast in fact.

However, there are obviosuly still the old pages present within Google. I have 301'd these to new pages.

The only thing bugging me is the main page. This has also changed, but Google is still indexing the old page (old title/meta desc).

Like my old pages that take time to disappear, is it just a case of waiting and I'm being paranoid?

Ta

Google takes 2-3 weeks to update low priority content.

I agree. Just wait it out and see what it's doing in a few weeks time. This is why there are so many extremely patient, saint-like SEOs out there! lol

throw more links (quality one much better) on your site, this will help in indexing. (actually it helps a lot not only in terms of indexing)

Don't forget to do a new XML Sitemap and upload it via Webmaster Tools (Google, Yahoo and Bing)

Hehe. How do you know my content is low priority? :)

I was in fact being inpatient. Everything updated yesterday morning. Took 4 days in total.

Guess I should be more patient in the future :)
