Hi Guys,

I'm looking to make the move from Classic ASP to .NET for web development.

Can anyone recommend any decent books on the subject?

As up to date as possible please.

Thanks,
Dave.

I have Pro C# 2008 and the .Net 3.5 Platform. It's a really full book, bit of a bible on hardback.
Just checked on Amazon - 2010 version available from 20th March - Clicky

Edit: Because I have assumed you use c# ;)

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the response.

Just been doing some research and it appears it will be all change around April 12th as Microsoft are releasing ASP.NET 4 so I'm going to hang fire for time being.

There are loads of books shortly to be released on the subject.

Thanks,
Dave.
