Im not crazy about google Page rank program, I think people over re-act if a website has a low Pr, I know lots of popular sites that have a pr of 2. My question is though, why do I have a page rank of N/A, I would at least want to be ranked, insted of N/A

My website is about 4-5 months old, the hits bar says about 2500 hits, and I have a few back links. Its not an adult site or any kind of site that might get me blocked by google. When I put my website in the Google page rank bar, its says N/A with a grey bar only. I mean its not even coming up as 0/10 or 1/10 just N/A. What could be the reason for this. I know im indexed becuase when I put my site in google, my site shows up, I uploaded the site to google a few months ago. Please advise, thanks again

PR Rank doesnt matter at all... But for the sake of answering your questions here goes.

Google only updates PR every 3/4 months as far as I was aware.

Quote

"The N/A pagerank (grey pagerank bar) says N/A might be due to one of the following reasons:

(1) the web page is new, and it is not indexed by Google yet,
(2) the web page is indexed by Google, but it is not ranked yet,
(3) the web page was indexed by Google long ago, but it is recognised as a supplemental (Supplemental Results) page,
(4) the web page or the whole website is banned by Google."

You aren't banned if you are indexed by Google. And it is unlikely you have copied other peoples content, so hopefully it isn't number 3.

I think you are sitting in number 2 above.

According to this page rank updates article there was an update on 13 / 14 February 2010. But it was only a small update. This page rank updates are not regular and you will sometimes see longer periods between them than others.

its correct, normal timing to get page rank is more than 3 months so i believe you just have to wait so that your website gets a page rank

Just out of interest, is there any reason at all you're concerned about your pr?
