I've recently changed my domain name and had a site with PR3. The new domain, only a month onld, has got a PR of 0 even though I have changed all my backlinks over. Anyone know how long it will take to get the PR again?

As above, you'll need a 301 redirect to notify the search engines of the change, otherwise it'll be lost.

According to Matt Cutts, PR updates occur every 3-4months and are first visible in the Google toolbar.

In a recent interview with Matt Cutts he said that some PR will be lost on a 301 the reason being that there is the question as to whether the sites that linked to your web page initially would still do so at the new address/url. It was recommended in an article I read that you should contact all those backlinking to you and ask them to update the url they are using, it was suggested that if at least 20% changed their backlink url to the new one then this would suggest trust to the search engines and you would be more likely to maintain the PR.

The article did not give the source of the research that produced the above conclusions so I cannot say further. If I can find the link I will post it.

you can obtain back links with no traffic as a number of times you can receive a lot of traffic without having a ranking and sometimes, it as well seen that without traffic, you can have a very superior ranking too. So that is why each people we need id to go behind the policy and regulations of the Google so that we can produce additional returns.
