hello i'm doing a job for someone who runs fantasy theme parties and medieval feasts and similar. i built the site no problem he then decides he want a booking page with a payment facility. i've never done this before and my initial research suggests it's a little complicated. there seems to be so many options.
we already have a website and a paypal account. i really just need to work out how to best combine the two.
the main requirements are;
a ) that the customer can book single or multiple places at upcoming events and pay by paypal or card.
b ) that when i hand control of the site over to my client it is easy for them to update available events and create payment options for them without coming back to me.
that's about it really.
will i need a shopping cart program to do this? does anyone know of any similar pages i could look at to get an idea of how to format everything?
thanks

Simplest way - Paypal website payments standard with IPN. Each event listing could generate a simple buy now button.
Could also use Sagepay's form integration, but this is £20 per month.

If you are prepared to pay, you could use WHMCS - although it is marketed at hosting companies, you can use it for the purpose you stated. They also provide an integration service which will match the site as you have designed it.
It costs around 20 dollars per month, so depends how much the client is prepared to spend.
