Hi Guys,

I haven't redesigned my site for a while (november ish)So I thought I'd give it an update.

I've scrapped the black and blue this time and gone for a light grey with a deep red.

What do you think?

As always, any feedback or comments are very appreciated.

Hi soldier:D,

Simple and clean, understandable design, I`d say. But I totally dislike this header.

Hi Lev,

Cheers.
What don't you like about it and what would you do to improve it?

What don't you like about it

Nothing, mate.
Neither logo, nor background, nor a picture at the right side of the header.
Logo is too big, too bulky, background is too plain, picture — too dull. Apologies for seeming harsh.

What I would do to improve - I would decrease logo size and maybe make the font bolder. I would decrease also height of header and add decorations - maybe gradient or/an some abstract shapes. I would remove picture and placed instead a contact information, or a slogan, or something like that.

Unfortunately I have to agree it looks really dull. You should organise the content into columns at least. Surely you have more design tricks up your sleeve than this to promote your services! Get some texture into it as well I always think that makes a world of difference.

I know its an image - but I'm not getting much call to click on things.

Work on some more obvious call to action to guide the user into the site.

I guess it would be better to separate the header from the nav bar.

There's too much going on horizontally. I think you need a vertical column to break it up.

Plus something about your text is making it seem over busy... you have white text, grey, black, and different font sizes etc it would be better if you kept it all one sort of uniformed style so it's clear and as such more effective.

Char

Cheers Charlotte.

I don't really want to add a column. But I have changed the text so its all the same style and size (except the header and top navigation - black on red isn't so good)

Hows this?

Tbh, the design is not great at all, with you being a web design company your design should be fantastic but it's not..

It looks like a quick 5 minute job in photoshop if I am going to be honest, sorry to put a downer on it but it's the truth.

Keep working on it mate!

I think you could reduce size of all fonts as it looks to large at the minute, also try and do something more with the red, maybe use some textures/patterns to make it look more attractive.

Also, I don't think the nav is working too well as it is, it's needs to have more "click appeal (where have I heard this?)" so again, play around with the text and shades/gradients to make it stand out more.
