Hello all,

We've a client who needs an online booking system, so I'm trying to find the "Wordpress" of online booking systems. In fact, if you know of a good plugin for Wordpress, that would be equally helpful!

Hi, you can use the wordpress extension made by WebReserv: http://wordpress.org...alender-plugin/

You first have to register on their webpage http://www.webreserv.eu, then setup your WebReserv account. Once you've set up the account with your products and prices you download the extension for Wordpress to embed the calendar on your Webpage. The setup is really easy.

I hope that will help.

How are people able to recommend random Wordpress plugins when the OP has given very little detail.

And why the hell do people instantly jump for a Wordpress plugin to do everything?

Indeed - people see WP plugins as a magical 'fix all' when more often than not, what they actually want can be achieved with a small, lightweight custom function - but alas, as more people get into WP, we are going to see this more and more often.

In my opinion, wordpress is awesome, but should be used as a fantastic base for a site - not a magic tool for everything and anything.

Personally, I don't see using a plugin and then trying to make it fit your purpose as web development at all. It's definitely a very small part of web development, but not a platform for every site.

I mean how many posts on this site do we see that start with "is there a wordpress plugin for xxxxx...." . Kinda sad. :(
