Just browsing through some design company sites, as I do on a regular basis and I came across this site http://weredope.com/
It's not a bad site, but their line includes "Plus we here one page portfolios are all the rage." to me that just screams "we follow"? I want my design company to say "I lead".
I just think people need to be more imaginative?
What do you guys think?
I also noticed http://www.bythepond.co.uk/ got the bid for blackpool.co.uk - I actually cringed when I saw what they created.

Yeah but the first part of that is "We're busy building our site, so this will do for now. Plus we hear* one page portfolios are all the rage."
So it's meant as a bit of a joke, that's all. But on the plus side my portfolio is on one page yay!
*note the spelling (hehe)

Hi Crispy
Just thought I'd give the heads up - your last nav menu item gets pushed onto the next line in Opera 10, FF3 and Safari 3 on my mac. Also, the slideshow is about 10px lower than the screen graphic that contains it.
It's almost ironic that you're showing your work in a mac on your site. Have you tested your site on mac?
There's a saying that comes to mind: let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Hi,
I'm aware of what's wrong with the site, thanks. It's in the process of being re designed, so I'm not too worried about it at the moment - busy with client work.
