Hey,

I'm working on a HTML email:Threesixty Newsletter

I've worked off a CampaignMonitor template as I haven't worked with HTML emails before. I've tested it in numerous email clients, quite a few issues, but a recurring issue is that the footer is not aligning in most of the email clients. It seems to be ignoring the margin/padding, its not aligning under the grey horizontal line as it should. Anyone has any idea why this is happening or how to fix it?

Any help much appreciated,

cheers :)

E-mail clients usually ignore any styles in the <head> tag. Haven't we already had this conversation? :p

I think the problem might be your table cells. Try defining the widths of those cells, adding 'align="center"' to the cell containing your footer table and keep 'align="left"' on the permission cell you've got.

Also, watch out for your comments, every now and again an e-mail client will display them

Yes we have had this conversation before :p There's a tool in campaign monitor that moves the styles inline so I'll use that when I'm done, I envision a horrific mess if I try move all the styles inline myself!

I will have a look at the table cell widths and alignment, hopefully that'll do the trick.

cheers for the help :)
