Footer Trouble

Another problem. How the hell do I go about stretching this image to get rid of the whitespace highlighted in the image below ?

Make sure your body is 100% and you have no margins.

I use this method regularly and I never have any whitespace issues. :lol:

Tried that many times today, wont seem to work for me, content ends up plastered all over the screen. Pulling my hair out over this, assignment has to be submitted in 10 hours. Need to stop leaving things to last minute !

Allright, problem sorted again, thanks Jack. Body width was not set to 100%. I'm actually an idiot.

Setting margin:0; padding:0; on the body also does the trick (for future reference).
