Just finished my first cs cart customisation, but the login seems to be acting really odd. Sometimes it works other times it just wont. The problem seems to be with the captcha, but ive checked my code and it looks fine. Any ideas ?
You can try the login here www.tigeris.co.uk, click the sign in button which will bring the login popup down and enter TEST for the username and TEST for the password, finally enter the captcha. If the login suceeds please clear your cookies and try again, usually it fails after the first attempt. I just cant get my head around it, i managed 7 sucessfull logins the other night. Managed 3 just now, tried it on my laptop and i cant even get in once, im wondering is cs cart so intelligient it only allows one login per ip or something ridiculous like that since i really cant get my head around it.

Thanks guys i get exactly the same, though it does work occassionaly.
I just cant get my head around it ive used the default cs cart login, just ive customised it a little. Really the only difference is im using an li for the login button where initially it was an input button, but i really cant see that being the cause since ive kept the id the same. Anyway something somewhere is wrong i know that for sure now.

Just tried again, and found something that might help...
If I click the Captcha image to reload it, and then login it always seems to work, otherwise I get that error.
I'm guessing the captchaid attached to the first loaded image is wrong.
I'm not sure if this will work, but you could try getting that image to reload (simulate a click) in your Javascript when the page first loads.

Thanks that really did help
After finding the cause was the captcha for certain i decided to have a look through the login tpl files and guess what i found. Only another login popup just hidden with display: none i must have hidden and just forgot about it. Anyway ive removed that and everything seems to working with the login, i guess the dupe was causing the captcha to only work occassionally ie sometimes the hidden captcha would be the one working so that must of been the problem.
If you guys wouldnt mind could you just try the login again and let me know its working.
Thanks

I had the same issue. But I am not a web developer
I contacted with developers at: cs-cart-development.com
And they resolved all my problems and had made modification for me.
I recommend the service on this site.
good luck!
