A while ago I said that I'd produce some tutorials on PHP web development and OOP.

This first tutorial is all about configuring a Windows XP or Vista PC for web development.
(Sorry to Mac and Linux users).

I've seen a number of posts over the past few weeks about setting up a PC to do web development.

I've assumed no knowledge in this tutorial and hope that it will be of some help to new developers or those that are interested in web development.

I'll leave the link on my website for the moment PHP Web Development Tutorial Part 1

- If anyone can provide notes for a Mac or Linux that would be much appreciated. Otherwise have fun any feed back will be good too :)

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks for the positive feedback - I've corrected a couple of typos in the original document and added a revision history.

I'll be starting on "Part 2" shortly.
