Hi,

Was wondering if anyone knows any reasons for this.

Im currently working on www.regalautobulbs.co.uk, doing bits to help them get up the rankings, and they were on page 11 for car bulbs, but now for some reason they have gone.

They still rank 4th on the uk pages on google, so just wondering why this would happen?

Thanks

Chris

Rankings are dynamic. The main reason maybe that the competing sites are ranking well now that your site is set aside and overtaken.

You should not worry about that particular keyword not ranking well. You can stil rank for other keywords related to your site. Start with keyword research and you can find lots of keywords (many searches - low competition) that you can rank well which will give you traffic and profit.

Still looks like it's on page 11 now! Sometimes there are very big and very short term jumps (rather than the usual drift up or down). My advice to anyone checking their progress is sure to keep an eye-out regularly for any problems, but not look at their rank daily.... your positioning month-on-month is a more reliable indicator of how you're doing (weekly if you just don't have the patience!). :D

Sometimes the rankings fluctuations are quite normal, especially for the new websites which may not be that strong online with links and contents, and as the domains get older the rankings would get fixed.
