I am not a web designer nor am I very web savvy, I am actually a gardener with a lot of time on my hands following an accident. During that time I developed a site to sell jewellery made by members of my family with the help of a part time web designer. To make the site stand out we incorporated a "virtual jewellery design workshop" that allows the user to follow the process a jewellery maker does in laying out a piece of jewellery before connecting it all together. Once a design has been made, the user is directed to Paypal.
Initially we had problems with the cost of postage so to simplify things we have included the cost of postage into the selling price. All is well if people only want to buy one item, however I would like to attract multiple purchases by offering a discount. I would also like to be able to offer gift vouchers. But I cannot see an option within Paypal to do this, can anyone advise?
Many thanks
Nigel

Welcome to WDF!
To do what you want you're probably going to need a proper shopping cart system to manage everything for you. This would allow you to set up multiple shipping options, discounts, plus a whole load of other facilities.

Thanks for your advice. I have looked through the list of shopping carts and see that a number of them are free or relatively inexpensive. The ones I looked at are certainly a big improvment on the functionality of what we have at the moment. Are you aware of any that could be used within a Flash based site such as ours without having to change the design layout of the site as it is at the moment?
