Hi there im building a website for a local takeaway with a online ordering system and was wanting to know and how easy it is to set the website up to accept payments but they are wanting it to be direct payment into there bank account.

What would be the process that would need to be done for this ??

Thanks

John

They would need a merchant account, and then you'd need to set up the website to process payments through their merchant account.

They should be able to get one form their bank. Yes there is cost involved. It varies form bank to bank and company to company. You can also get them form places such as PayPal.
Most of the cost is based on the number of transcations per month plus the monthly charge for the service

I dont think there is any other way : you have to have a merchant account , gateway service etc...

The simplest (and the best) merchant account by far is loudcommerce.com
In this url you will find easy options:
http://www.firstdata...teway/index.htm
I use the Global Gateway Connect option and never gives me any trouble.
