Hi
I recently made a modification to a classified ads script. I zipped all the files the i modified and send them to the customer but he now wants me to provide him with step-by-step instructions instead. It's gonna take me quite a while to do that and I was wondering if there's anything cat can help me automate it, like text comparing and essentially creating the instructions/report?

I recently worked with this mod and found it very well documented

Unpack and open the XML file in the browser to see what i mean.

Thanks

Hey, That sounds like such a pain but what you could use is a screen recorder

Just a quick search on google I found http://www.zdsoft.com/ but its up to you what one you choose.

I hope this could help you on your way to not having to write each step out in word or something.

Yea, doing a short video sounds like a good idea - as long as you can clearly see what's happening on the screen. Much quicker to demonstrate it than trying to describe everything by text.
