Hi everyone,

I'm using a bespoke CMS for many of my clients and many of whom have a news/article section within their site that they can update themselves.

I've read articles/tutorials on how to create an RSS feed - just an XML file it seems.

But how can I get it to sync with my CMS so that it automatically updates when new articles are published?

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be of great help :)

Thank you,

Christian

You need to pull the latest x amount of records/entries from your database and write them to the XML file. So when the database updates, so with the feed.

Thanks for your help :)

Hmm, I've got the RSS displaying and I've manually typed in the 3 posts that are on the news page of my web site. Everything "looks" how it should. However, when I add a new post on my news page, my feed.xml does not pick up on this and automatically add it. Am I doing something wrong?
