You probably need some knowledge of PHP and it might be best to download ready-made code.

I found this for a combined registration and login using PHP and a database

For a Contact Us form, formmail is often used as it has some security measures built in:-

hello gurugeak

i guess if you are making a website as you described above its going to be a difficult job for you to do all alone ...
but still i have an idea that how you can do it... all you need is to create a new mysql database a couple of login and logout pages in your site and a few data entry system embedded the login logout register checking username all of this can be done in Dreamweaver itself but first you need to set up a testing server i would recommend xampp it is available here..
http://www.apachefri...g/en/xampp.html
then you go to server behavior panel > user authentication... and you are done but lemme warn you all this is basic php and not secure enough i don't have knowledge about increasing security but if you are dealing with money on your site then there are many people out there who have a lot more knowledge that us and can hack into your database to have their points increased...

andyou dont need to asign every new user a new page... your custom page will work for them as it will use sessions to log in and log out user...

this small tutorial shall help you to log in and log out user ... it is out of topic coz it first tell you how to have comments thing on your site but after it this tells you all the log in and log out procedure in dreamweaver remember it has four parts..... link to each is given in the end of tutorial i would insist you to give this thing a little time coz it will really help...

i'll be honest this website is pretty un-useful. It took you this many days to answer my question.... i already went to another website and they immediately showed me tutorials for what i wanted and i have finished it all and it is quite advanced, and more than i wanted.

What is the tutorial? Some of us might like to learn.

I suggested that you would need PHP and a database; if you had asked on the PHP board you might have got an answer.

There was absolutely no need to be so rude.

Your post title is about Dreamweaver CS4 and it's in the How do i do that? section. I imagine many Dreamweaver experts came in and found they couldn't help you. No one with any PHP knowledge will have read your question. This is an extremely large forum and no one can read every message so people tend to stick to their areas of interest/knowledge.

You were given help by a member in the first instance. You should be grateful that anyone anywhere on any forum was willing to take the time to help you out.
