I am a Chelsea Fan and I also play a bit. I am a centre back or right back and just play sunday league!
So who else plays? If any Essex people play then we might be up against each other at some point in the coming season lol

For the lower leagues, I am a fan of Leyton Orient so I try to go and see them as often as possible
My mate is a Southampton fan, so we have been laughing at him a lot recently lol

I'm a yid (a few others around this forum too)
I used to play in a Sunday league in goal but I did my shoulder in and now I can only dive one way lol... useless! Now I only play with mates every Tuesday and I'm a CB. After being in Goal for a good 15 years, you really get to know exactly what a good CB should be doing.
I like Orient too, but probably just because they share their ground with our reserves.

I just REALLY hate it. It's like watching paint dry. I can't play for crumbs either. My interest in it is just zero.

Haha... only just noticed you're Derby based!
I don't actively follow Derby but if anybody asks I'll say I'm a Derby fan. About the only player I could name is the keeper, Bywater?

Playing wise, I haven't played competitive football for a few years now, as I have screwed up my knee (even the doctors don't know what I've done to it). But I still play with mates and stuff and thinking of making a 5-a-side team for our local league.
I used to play Left-back, but now I have moved into a more midfield role.

Roy Carrol's our keeper mate... Stephen Bywater in #2!
We've had a conversation about derby before though

Manchester United fan. Secondly Barcelona FC. I chose to support Manchester United during the Champions League Final @ Rome as I started off supporting Manchester United since I was 9 years old.
My favorite position(s): Striker, Winger, Attacking Midfielder. So, FW, ST, CAM, RWM, RWB, LWM, LWB, etc. do fit me.
I do play soccer around in my country. Street soccer, field soccer. I seldom play futsal, or should I say just once or twice? I am in a team from my school that goes around looking for public/friendly matches.

HOOOOOWWWEVER, terydinho... American Football is called Football because the objective is to use your feet to advance up the field. Just like Rugby is officially called 'Rugby Football'.

saying that I love to see old movies of early football matches - long shorts, flat caps and goalkeepers with a fag on the go

Awwwww I so wanted to go to that game but one of my best mates had to be born on the 24th of July, grrr! Shame we haven't got really any new signings to display (other than those kyle kids).. so want Hunterlaar to come to Spurs! Will watch the highlights though as soon as I get back and try and spot you

Now then. I'm a Lincoln City fan so it's good to see there's someone else who supports football the lower divisions. I've been to Brisbane Road (or The Matchroom Stadium) quite a number of times. We've lost most of the time though!
You signed Adrian Patulea from us a month ago. He became a legend within the first few months playing for us but fell out of favour with the management even though he was our leading scorer!
