Hi everyone,

got a BBQ coming up in 2 weeks, and we were planning on having an inflatable jousting/gladiator thing setup. The company we used to use, charged £50 per night, but have just found out, they sold the company, and then it went bust. So heres my dilemna:

its too late to cancel, so i need something to do instead, or to find another company to go to (have had a look around, and am getting quotes at £100 a night.....)

Everyone attending is paying £5 per head to cover food/booze/whatever we get for entertainment.

So does anyone have any ideas? Maybe i should get 10 people off WDF to come, to cover the extra £50.

Have you asked if they can do it for £50 or even £75 - £80?

I would love to come but firstly I have no idea where it is and secondly I dont know when :p

They've let Reaper down, the party down - hell... they've let themselves down!!!!

You know I really didn't know what to expect when I saw the title of this thread!

Why not do things like a softball competition or volleyball or limbo, get a pinata, some water pistols... lots of little things that don't need much kit but can be a laugh?

Are you volunteering?

I did look at little things, but thought that a few of those ideas may not go down as well, due to the age range being mainly adults. If it all goes wrong, ill just buy nothing, and put the extra money into beer.

Decision has been made:

Cant get the inflatable jousting/bronco, so the replacement:

Nintendo Wii (including wii fit games)
Singstar (should be good after a drink)
Extra case of carling
Got someone i know does fairly good cocktails, so he is coming to help make drinks.

Reckon that'll do?

PS: Still places: £5 a head.
