National furniture retailer with existing successful high street and online presence looking for a fulltime web designer/developer.

We have several established e-commerce sites up and running with plans to get more up and running over the coming months. We are not looking for someone to program and design sites from the ground up but more likely use off the shelf packages eg: Actinic, which require some html skills and experience using graphic design packages to maintain our current sites and create news ones as we expand our online presence.

This is a new position and would probably suit someone who is looking to advance their own skills and build some experience in design and development. You would need to have a good understanding of SEO and ideally would have an understanding of Google/Yahoo PPC marketing.

Location: Based in our Swindon, Wiltshire office.
Reporting: To divisional sales manager.
Hours: Circa 40hrs per week (Typically Mon-Fri but can be flexible as we are a 7 day a week operation)
Pay: Negotiable

Up until now we have to a certain extent been relying on our own limited design and development skills and feel it is time to get someone on board who is enthusiastic, knowledgable and wants to show us what they can do. So if you are just starting out and feel you could make a real contribution or you are already established but looking for permenant work PM me in the first instance and we'll take it from there. Feel free to post response on here if you prefer as I will be visiting regularly.

I'd be interested in this.

I'm about an hour and halfs drive away, so ideally i'd prefer to work 10 hrs per day over 4 days if possible.

You can either contact me through PM on here or via dpb@dpbcreations.co.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Darren

Hi,

I'm a student and whilst I will be going to university in September I might be able to offer short term help. I currently work with several local companies doing anything from developing ecommerce sites to handling updates so the kind of work you describe shouldn't be a problem. My rates are very competitive however the quality of my work is very high. Take a look at my website http://first4quality.co.uk and contact me if you would like to discuss this further. Also I'm based about 30 minutes away from Swindon so travel wouldn't be a problem.
