Please don't think I'm repeating a post I made earlier that had no replies!

I'm looking for a shopping cart suitable for around 6 (!) items, can be integrated into a design, can contain several static product information pages and is easy to install and use. A paid for solution is fine - and I'll probably need a lot of support! I have been considering both Jshop and Trading Eye (the design of the Trading Eye site looks very nice and reminds me of Expression Engine.) Any help greatly appreciated!

Andrew

You could use paypal or cubecart for such a small inventory.

Thanks for both replies. It's useful to be able to download and try out a demo version of the software. However I'm looking for a solution that does not rely on the 'skin' approach - but can be very customisable.

like I said, you can just make a regular HTML/CSS site, and stick some Paypal buttons in for the 6 products. Alternatively, you could use Cubecart for such a small inventory - but that seems like a lot of work for so little inventory.

I use jcart for this kind of thing, it's already set up to work with paypal, but it's dead easy to set up with another vendor.

It's perfect for what you need to do, and easy to implement (edit some variables, add a php include to your pages, and you're pretty much done!).

I would always reccomend Cubecart - it's free, fairly simple to skin and very easy to use.

Thanks again everyone for your help. Unfortunately the client has ruled out Paypal already - I think they want a 'professional' looking site. (Paypal buttons have a bad reputation for some reason!). But I'm going to have a good look at all the recommendations.
