Hi peeps
I have been building up a portfolio for 1 year which does comprise of images I got from the internet like google etc & altering the state of them alot for my designs.
To be honest I didn't really mind about the copyrights as it was personal private portfolio that will only get shown to friends, & interviews for jobs but now I got into web designing I would like to place my work online but dont want to pay fines if i'm caught
* I heard if the image is below a certain size like google images you can pass the copyright law?
* Can it be like music I think where you change alot from a basic principle your allowed?
* when converting images to vector or drawing them why is it ok to use then?
How do you as designers go about things when showing your portfolio as i'm sure people have images they shouldn't have? but if not and you can recommend good free royalty places that you use for your designs and web building could you please post some links too

I hear ya! But really, it's about writing copy (what you forgot to do). It has nothing to do with copyrights, unless you need a fancy way of writing it.
