Hello
you can enlarge or reduce text in Firefox or Internet Explorer by holding down the Control key and rolling your mouse scrollwheel up or down. (This doesn't work for me in Firefox but I'm sure it's because of some extension that overrides it, because it did at some point.) Another neat Firefox-only text-size shortcut: Hit Control-0 [that's zero] to get back to the original text size.

If you find yourself squinting to read a web site with very small text on it (all the rage with the kids these days, that small text), don't forget: hold down Control and hit the + key to enlarge or the - key to reduce the size of text on many sites using Firefox, including Lifehacker.
