Are you an offical supplier to your regional Business Link? If so, have you had much business through BL referrals?

I'm an adviser at Scottish Business Gateway, which is part of Business Link
businesslink.gov.uk

The general feedback is that businesses are listed, but they generate enquiries and customers from other sources
However, we do use it internally to find people companies that may be of interest

Im a registered supplier to my county council. but only because i've done some work for schools.

Yes I used to be, and yeah quite a few offers of work but its a long process for them to get the go ahead and the money to do it.

Ok for the people that actually are Business Link registered suppliers... Have you found that it is worth being a registered supplier (i.e. do you get regular referrals etc.)?

blueocto - how come you're not a supplier any more if you don't mind me asking?
