I think we should all stand together and help to rid the internet of people STILL using Internet Explorer 6!

Take a look ie6 upgrade warning.

I have a theory that there is an underground internet group perpously using ie6 just to wind up all the webdesigners!! maybe they have a forum? B)

LOL - that's a fun little script - however, I'd love to see what happens when you do that to a client's site and he calls you in a rage because 20% of his users can't access his site...

In this case the casualty would be your (potentially lucrative) contract with your client. Willing to put up with that?

Ie6 will die in time on it's own, next year w2k is no longer patched/supported at all, so alot will be forced to upgrade, and ditch ie6 in the process. There will always be a few of the buggers about though <_<

But considering most using ie6 are in a corporate environment, i wouldn't drop support for it on a commercial/business site, although for any personal sites, i'd prompt people to upgrade :)
