Hi all
I'm new to web design - that is to say i've only designed 2 sites, but I don't consider myself to be that much of a n00b.
I've been into it for about a year and a half now, whilst working for a school as the IT Technician, and during my time there I maintained thier website, built by the previous technician : www.st-georges-sheppey.kent.sch.uk
I also created a PHP/mySQL site for my mum's massage business which incorporated a mySQL database for user registration and emailing of newsletters. I designed the site for her to do mailings to the users from part of the site that she was required to log on to in order to write them.
I'm currently designing my own site which I will use to offer my services and showcase my prev work, but I'm looking for hosting at the moment - perphaps someone could suggest a good free service?
I live in the UK and would be ecstactic if someone would offer me either work to do for free that I can portfolio, or apprentice work or even payed work. I'm currently unemployed as the school I was working for converted to a Primary school, and as such no longer required a full time Tech guy ::tear::

If anyone could offer me any advice or any work that would be a great help for me.

Feel free to contact me via email if you want.

Ben

Have a look here, they offer a free hosting plan, otherwise i have a reseller hosting plan if you want some cheap hosting.
