Following the gramatical theme, I always liked the 'Word for the Day' add on for facebook so thought we could do better! :)

Mine is 'Elegiac'.It means mournful. Taken from 'The Rise and Fall of a Domestic Diva' by Sarah May.

What's yours people? And where did you come across it?

Seeing as I know all the words in the English language (like 'eckers!) I thought I'd be a bit froward...

Wangka

This is the romanised word that is used in Taiwan to mean internet cafe.

It comes from 'Wang' being the Chinese character for 'web' and 'ka' coming the first syllable of 'cafe" to make it a catchy contraction.

Nothing funnier than the telecoms ads in which they say "Wangka" every 10 seconds!
