No. But it takes time to learn :D
You can animate or script in flash. Even when you cant script you still can make something nice with animation!
Do you want to learn flash? I got some good easy tutorials for a beginner i used myself.

Flash can be both easy AND hard. It just depends what level you want to reach. It is very flexible. A great place to start would be to open flash and hit F1 there is a lot you can learn about flash from there.

I think it's reasonably easy as it's so much fun. If you've got the enthusiasm and passion for learning flash......then you really need to master Actionscript. Okay, i know you can create some good animations without the code, but damn!....you create even better ones with.

www.learnflash.com should be your first port of call. It isn't free but once you purchase some videos, you will become a flash master in no time.

Flash definitely need time. If you have coding experience it is a plus in understanding Actionscript.
My trouble was trying to work with keyframes :p
