Colour is something that can help make or break a design but sometimes it is hard to know what colour is best, so here are a few links to places that could help you out :)

For an article on colour theory check out:

For help with creating your colour palette there are many colour scheme makers out there, here are some of them:

This is a site on colour theory, Its short version of the theory developed by Yohannes Itten and gives more depth than the link you currently have for the article on colour theory.

On average around 10% of your sites visitors could have some sort of CB, and that's a large enough amount not to ignore

Yes you are right sometime color with multiple tool are not supported . so, out website layout is dishonored.
Same problem with me in my web hosting url.

I had a look at the Adobe Kuler site. Is it just a site that shows what colours match etc, or am I missing the bigger picture. I appreciate its a bit of a daft question.

Also, for those of you who own an iPhone or thinking of getting one, there are a few colour picker apps that are quite useful!

Some are free, or have free alternatives that you can try before buying the full version.

Adobe Kuler is the best for sure... And now it's very easy to use as it is integrated with the Adobe CS5 Collection.

Could u please throw some more light on which colors I should avoid so that color blind visitors find the site impressive.

I can highly recommend Instant Eyedropper. It can detect any colour on a page, and give you it's equivalent in a variety of different formats.
