Hi to all!

At last I've finished the alpha version of my site.

My project's goal is to give people as many free useful tools (for image, text editing etc.) as I can.
I'd really appreciate if you could test my site for functionality and write overall reviews about design.

Here it is:
AnyMaking.com

Don't miss Photo Effects section! :)

Thank you forward!

Me too! The graphics and colour are beautiful, the pages are not too cluttered and are easy to navigate. The only thing I noticed is that your form doesn't stay in its box when I make the page width smaller. It stays the same distance from the edge of the window, so that it overlaps into the content area.

Yes, I was viewing your site in IE7. But I meant it happens when the window is maximized, not made narrower. It was late last night when I replied. (oops) My laptop is a widescreen, and when I maximize the window, everything centres nicely except the form, which doesn't move.

Looks Very Good. It does have abit of a template look though. But apart from that, very well done! :D

Thanks! I'll try to fix it :)

Template.. It sounds to me like some kind of compliment :) Anyway thanks for the feedback! Next time will try to be more original! (It's my second work in web design, but not the second in design at all)

pages load ok, the tools work great ( i really like the photo effects section )
overall, i like it well done,

ok problems....

html isnt valid

CSS isnt valid

this isnt really a problem but an SEO suggestion,
you are query strings in your urls, I'd think about making them a little more friendly, would take much as you only send one variable at a time but would give your urls some structure and would help your sites seo a lot

I find the use of textures / patterns a little bit overwhelming. The page background dots are nice, it's a good texture/pattern, but I think the textures/details in the header clash with it's simplicity. Looking at the header, you have all those wavy lines, then you also have a dagonal line pattern, as well as a bit of a checkerboard thing going on in the right hand corner and also a load of arrows on the left - it's a bit overkill and just makes the site look messy.

Simplify the header and your site will instantly look better - that's my opinion.

I also think it looks like an off the shelf template and therfore not very original, but you may have been looking at template websites for inspiration which is very valid as I used to do the same to get an idea of how to structure content.

For your second website, it's a very good attempt - but do get your html and css to validate.

The orange color in top_bar.png clashed with the logo orange, and I think the background texture on the body was a bit too much for me. But I like the direction this is going in. I'd like to see this become more expansive over time.

The design of the site seems very good. Everything has its place, the colors are consistent, except maybe the "Something goes wrong" button, which is green. Also, the frowning smilie's mouth is very big and it looks kind of odd, but thats a minor problem.

One thing I would suggest about the border tool, is that you can preview the border on your image, in case the colors don't match as much as you thought they would--I'm not really sure if it actually creates the file before you download it, so I'm a little hesitant to click the add border button. Maybe you should clarify whether it does or not.

I think the games part is a bit random, but it seems pretty unique. I played Ice Slide, and when I ended the game the game kept spazzing between "Your Name", "High scores", "Could not load High Scores, sorry", "Loading High Scores...", "Miniclip.com The high scores are exclusively available on www.miniclip.com. Play with high scores now!" You might wan to look into that.

Your website has a decent use of color and the layout is spectacular. I love how you mixed various gradients of silver with blue. The result is a nice glossy looking website. I have only one complaint. For some strange reason, the reflection of the "Anymaking" logo text is getting on my nerves. I can't figure out what it is. That's about it though. Really clean looking website.

First of all thank you, guys, for your reviews and constructive suggestions!

Due to your comments I've made little design changes:
1. Change color "Something goes wrong" button to light blue.
2. Remove reflection from AnyMaking logo.
3. Change color of "What about to create something new?" to blue.
4. Remove "checkerboard" thing from header and decrease contrast of "chaotic lines". (Any other attempts to simplify header were not so good. But I'll think more about it ..)

Does It looks better now?

gav, thanks for checking CSS and HTML for validity. I'll fix it in near future.

Frisby, It's good idea about border preview before submitting. Currently I'm thinking about good functional realization.

About games: It just dummy for corresponding site section. I'm going to create several my own games with multiplayer mode (for registered users) little bit later :)

Any making?
What does that really mean though.

That everyone will be able to "make" "Any"thing on my site! :)

P.S. Sorry for any grammar mistakes. English is not my native language.

Looks really good. Only thing that looks a bit odd is 'contacts' personally I think Contact Us would be better.
