Looking at redesigning my site, I know there's not a lot of difference but which one do you prefer:

Current: Forest ICT Services - Home

New: Forest ICT Services

Cheers

I prefer the current one, but neither of them are spectacular really.

New looks verry cool!
Only you need to take the old menubar and put it in the new because the new menubar is ugly if you ask me :D
But the old one is tight!

I like the 2nd one due to it having no javascript.
I'd advise moving the text up on the header, the small text that is.

And you also have "Forest ICT Services" hidden in the header just under the first time it's wrote.

Nice!

I prefer the first for colours but the second because you haven't got the moving images.

I'm sure with a couple more design tweaks your site will be looking fantastic! :)

version 1 looks like its at stage 1

version 2 looks like its at stage 2

I think you need to go upto stage 5 in order for this to be a complete project

nevertheless, its definitely moving forward :)

I think the new one is fab! A huge improvement and a massive difference.

There's a few things I'd suggest:

1. Use a menubar more similar to the older one. Not that one exactly because I don't think the colour would look right, but something like it, maybe the old design in black. Which leads on to...

2. I'd change the black from the menubar and the black in the header to the same shade of black! Your menubar colour is black #000000 but the black in your logo is a greeny black #0d1a08. For me these would have to be the exact same shade because they touch so it makes the logo look a little dull as it just screams to me 'I'm not black but want to be'!

3. Move the white writing ('If you need...') up a few pixels so the gap from the edge of the green under it is the same as the space on the right of it.

But they're very minor things...but then again, minor things drive me nuts. I think it's a fab design though, really eyecatching.

Hope this helps.
Rachel

PS I'm new here, hope I don't get a reputation as being a tad pernickety ha ha :p

Why not have green lines separating the tabs, instead of white lines?

They just have a different background colour, right?

I'd go with the one with the dark background.. don't think there's much in it though tbh

I've changed over to my new design now, hence why they look the same now. What can I change on my new site to make it look better?
